Welcome to the JD Bridges Foundation website (the “Site”). By accessing or using our Site, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service (“Terms”). Please read these Terms carefully before using our Site. If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not use the Site.

By using this Site, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. JD Bridges Foundation reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of the Site after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

All content on this Site, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and software, is the property of JD Bridges Foundation or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of any materials on the Site may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not use any content from the Site without the prior written consent of JD Bridges Foundation.

5. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed via the PayPal gateway. By making a donation, you agree to PayPal’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. JD Bridges Foundation is not responsible for any issues arising from the use of PayPal’s services. All donations are final and non-refundable.

6. Bursary Applications

By submitting an application for the JD Bridges Bursary, you agree that the information provided will be used by JD Bridges Foundation and the selection committee solely for the purpose of evaluating your application. The selection committee’s access to your information is limited to the duration of the selection process. If selected, your name, photo, and province may be displayed on the recipients’ page of our website. The use of your information is further governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Third-Party Links

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites that are not owned or controlled by JD Bridges Foundation. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites. By using the Site, you expressly relieve JD Bridges Foundation from any and all liability arising from your use of any third-party website.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. 11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, and you consent to the jurisdiction of such courts.

12. Termination

JD Bridges Foundation reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate your access to all or part of the Site, with or without notice, for any reason, including without limitation, if you breach these Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full force and effect.
