2. How We Use Your Information

The information you provide is used for the following purposes:

• Selection Process: Your personal information will be accessed by JD Bridges Foundation and our selection committee solely for evaluating bursary applications. Each year, the Board of JD Bridges Foundation appoints a selection committee of members from across Canada to review the applications of students who apply for the JD Bridges Bursary.
• Recipient and Committee Recognition: If you are selected as a bursary recipient, your photograph and province will be displayed on the recipients’ page of our website. Additionally, the photo, city, and province of selection committee members will be displayed on the recipients’ page.
• Marketing and Sponsorship: Your information may be used in marketing materials to attract sponsors for the JD Bridges Foundation. We will determine which specific data to include in such materials.

3. Who Has Access to Your Information

• JD Bridges Foundation and Selection Committee: Only JD Bridges Foundation staff and the selection committee will have access to your information during the application review process. The selection committee’s access is restricted to the duration of the selection process.
• No Third-Party Sharing: We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to outside parties.

4. Data Retention

• Application Data: Information provided during the application process is retained by JD Bridges Foundation for record-keeping purposes, but the selection committee only retains access to this information during the selection process.
• Recipient and Committee Data: Information of selected recipients and selection committee members may be retained for the purpose of displaying on our website and in marketing materials.

5. Donations and PayPal

Sponsors can donate to JD Bridges Foundation through our website using the PayPal gateway. When donating through PayPal, your information will be subject to PayPal’s cookie and privacy policies. We recommend reviewing PayPal’s privacy policy to understand how your information will be handled.

6. LiteSpeed Cache

This site utilizes caching to facilitate faster response times and a better user experience. Caching potentially stores a duplicate copy of every web page that is displayed on this site. Cache files expire on a schedule set by the site administrator but may be purged by the admin before their natural expiration if necessary.
